This is a good all purpose texture, not too busy but plenty of realism. You can spread this one around alot.
In this image of a wrecked ATAT, "Yellow Panel" textures the ATAT model as well as the ground itself. On the ground the directional nature of the texture simulates wind scouring nicely.
