Notes for use;



Notes on Bump map conversion - IMPORTANT!!

The Chaos Armour bump maps are provided in jpeg format. This saves on file size for speedier download.
Poser Pro Pack will utilise the jpeg automatically. If you are using Poser 4, you will need
to convert to .BUM format. Actually, Poser 4 will convert it for you, so it's not as difficult
as it might sound;


Load an item of chaos armour from the props library. Click on Render>materials.

Select the item from the drop-down menu on the top left of the dialogue box.

Tick the checkbox for "Texture changes apply to entire figure".

Go to the bump map dialogue and click on "Load". Navigate to Poser\Runtime\Textures\Curio's Creatures\props

Select the relevant bump map. (This file will appear as though it's already loaded).

Poser will ask if you'd like the file converted to .BUMP format. Select OK.


Open Source PSDs.

These files will enable you to apply the chaos war paint.
The idea with these is that you can combine the PSDs with whatever skin textures you like
in your favoured 2D painting application. There are two PSDs, one for the head and one for the body.
The head PSD is 2500px square. The body PSD is 2000px square. Simply overlay the PSD on to your skin texture.
(Ensure that that your skin texture is the same size as the warpaint PSD first - if it isn't, resize and save under
a different name). Then save the new texture with the bodypaint, and load into poser in the usual way.


Item alignment;

You may find it necessary to re-align some props when their parent figure is in certain poses.
The shoulderpads especially may need some re-positioning. Simply rotate or move the prop by selecting
it and dragging on the x, y, z rotate dials, or the x, y, z, trans dials.
